March 22, 2019 - The X-MCA is a stepper motor controller for bipolar stepper motors and actuators up to 1.0 A rms (1.4 A peak) per phase. This is Zaber’s most compact stand-alone controller available. It has been designed to fit in tight spaces and provide a range of mounting options including 90 degree stacking and 35 mm DIN rail mounting via optional accessories AB158 and AB159.
An ASCII interface allows the user to communicate with the device through Zaber Console, as well as third party terminal programs. The X-MCA is backwards-compatible with all of Zaber's existing T-Series and A-Series products. When daisy-chained with several units, the X-MCA can also share a single power supply with multiple X-Series products. The X-MCA is designed for mounting to panels, breadboards, lab benches, DIN rails, and enclosures.
