Zaber's ASR and ASR-E motorized XY microscope stages are now supported by MetaMorph® Microscopy Automation & Image Analysis Software , the industry standard software for automated microscope acquisition, device control, and image analysis.
When connected with the A-MCB2 stepper motor controllers, ASR and ASR-E stages can be controlled with MetaMorph or MetaMorph NX using a custom driver, which is available for download on our software page . These stages are also supported by Micro-Manager .
ASR and ASR-E stages are designed as replacements for manual stages on upright and inverted microscopes or for stand-alone operation as scanning stages. Their extremely low profile and small footprint allow for the stages to be incorporated into many different types of scanning systems and easily mounted to most common microscope platforms.
