In one of his first acts as newly appointed Managing Director of Zenith Technologies Limited, Dermot Donnelly will oversee the implementation of the co-operation agreement signed between the largest platform independent DCS solutions providers in Germany and Ireland. The new agreement between Lang & Peitler Automation GmbH (part of the German technologies group, M+W Zander) and the Irish based company, Zenith Technologies Ltd., will allow the companies to leverage their combined strength in DCS and MES solutions in control systems applications and services in Ireland and the U.K. It is expected that this agreement will lead to the creation of 40 new engineering jobs and will generate revenues in excess of €5 million by 2006.
“Both our companies have established positions as the largest vendor and platform-independent DCS suppliers in our respective markets so the partnership seemed an obvious choice,” stated Dermot Donnelly, MD, Zenith Technologies.
