Rockwell Automation Expands Condition Monitoring Services Contract with Air Liquide America L.P.

Contract brings Entek® predictive maintenance equipment to Air Liquide’s largest facilities

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 11, 2003 — Rockwell Automation today announced it has signed a five-year contract with Air Liquide America L.P. to provide condition-based monitoring equipment and services to Air Liquide’s Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi Pipeline region gas production facilities.

Air Liquide America L.P. is a supplier of oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and many other gases, serving industries such as steel, oil refining, chemicals, glass, electronics, healthcare, food processing, metallurgy, paper and aerospace.The new contract adds to an existing five-year equipment and services contract with Air Liquide America designed to help reduce maintenance costs and improve uptime at its gas production facilities.

As part of the new contract, Rockwell Automation will supply Entek® vibration analysis equipment to Air Liquide’s 17 largest U.S. plants. The equipment will enable the gas supplier to remotely monitor critical machinery and equipment. Rockwell Automation monitoring technicians will help the company’s maintenance personnel analyze the information gathered, identify developing faults in equipment and correct them before they can impact production or safety.
