KUKA Demonstrates Complex Case Packing Solution at PACK EXPO 2023

Sept. 13, 2023 - During PACK EXPO 2023, KUKA Robotics featured a complex case packing solution using its KR IONTEC robot with system partner DGT Solutions, Inc. The demonstration highlighted the versatility, speed and accuracy that KUKA automation provides for increased production and profitability with the ability to pack containers of different sizes and shapes at varying angles.
 
With a small footprint and flexibility, the KR 70 R2100 from the KR IONTEC family is a solid medium-payload performer for palletizing and case packing. Its low space requirement and streamlined profile meet the demands of compact cells, and due to its flexible mounting positions and convertible payload capacity after installation, the KR IONTEC is extremely adaptable to changing conditions and specific requirements. Digital Motion Modes allow performance to be adapted depending on the need for higher precision or speed.
