January 13, 2010 - Nexcom announces the EBC 340, a 3.5” embedded computer with an on-board Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processors and 512 KB L2 Cache by 533 MHz FSB. Featuring a low power consumption processor and ultra small form factor (146x 105mm) with versatile displays and rich I/O, the EBC 340 is ideal for automation and industrial applications. The EBC 340 is powered by Intel945GSE and ICH7-M chipsets which give powerful computing capability.
EBC 340 is configured with DDR2 400/533 memory along with the integrated GMA 950 graphics to support independent VGA and LVDS interface. The resolution can go as high as 1600 x1200 pixels. One Compact Flash socket and one SATA port support storage function. One PCI 104 slot meets the must-have expansion requirement in industrial applications.
Versatile interface are available in EBC 340, such as four serial ports, six USB 2.0 ports, one PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.
