Under the umbrella of HANNOVER MESSE (Hannover Fair) 2006, "Factory Automation" will present the latest products, systems and services for a complete spectrum of industrial applications.

Twelve companies have already responded to the invitation and registered their interest in presenting their portfolios at Digital Factory during HANNOVER MESSE 2007 (the Hannover Fair). These include: across Systems, empolis, Siemens AG A&D MC, Siemens I&S, IBM, IDS Scheer, Infoman, Infor, Innosoft, Prostep, SA Service Alliance, and the Research Institute for Rationalization and Operations Management at RWTH Aachen.

The world is experiencing a turning point in international economic and energy policy–one that brings with it rising energy prices, disrupted supply chains and a major impact on global industrial production. At the same time, a growing number of manufacturers are doing their part to combat climate change. The world needs speedy solutions in this area: political, economic and technological. Digital Factory Trade Fair for Integrated Processes and IT Solutions, is getting a new home at HANNOVER MESSE 2012. The new location in Hall 7 is close to the process automation themes covered by the Industrial Automation show.

Robots, including dogs, two-legged humanoid robots, soccer robots, and service and rescue robots, will be competing in eight different leagues at the RoboCup German Open 2007.

At the Hannover Messe Digital Edition, more than 1,800 exhibiting companies show their solutions for the factories and energy systems of the future.

Roughly two months before the start of HANNOVER MESSE 2013 (8 to 12 April), its organizer, Deutsche Messe, is expecting a strong trade fair performance coupled with a winning Partner Country showcase.

"Motion, Drive & Automation" (MDA) trade fair for power transmission and control will be part of HANNOVER MESSE 2007 (the Hannover Fair). The net display space covers approximately 50,000 square meters, making MDA one of the biggest display areas at HANNOVER MESSE. Around 1,300 international exhibitors will be showing products for power transmission and control from 16 - 20 April 2007 in Halls 19 to 26.

The real automation highlight this year is the new Application Park, a project run jointly by the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) and Deutsche Messe. At this show within a show, mechanical engineers, robot manufacturers and automation service providers will be showcasing complete production solutions.

Deutsche Messe AG and the German Hydrogen and Fuel-Cell Association (DWV) jointly announced the new H2Eco Award. The call for applications targets companies whose projects significantly boost the hydrogen market economy. Criteria include economic viability, innovation and entrepreneurship. The application deadline is 2 May 2022.

Mitsubishi Electric is continuing on its growth course, with the Industrial Automation division posting double-digit growth figures throughout Europe in all product categories. At the 2006 Hannover Messe trade show the company is going to continue the product offensive started in 2005, presenting a wide range of new products in strategically important sectors.

The award was presented during the HANNOVER MESSE Opening Ceremony on 23 April by Germany’s Minister for Education and Research, Johanna Wanka.

Frese will take over responsibility for the world’s biggest IT show, CeBIT, as well as for the Hannover exhibition grounds and on-site construction plus DMAG subsidiaries.

Endress+Hauser, ABB, JUMO and other big-name exhibitors will show solutions that turn Industry 4.0 into reality for process automation users at Hannover Messe in April.
