The agreement combines the strength of ABB in regulated environments and process applications together with the strength of ALC in full turn-key installation of commercial and critical building management applications. Using ABB's Industrial IT System 800xA as the backbone, the companies can seamlessly tie together facility and process control. The combined architectures link ABB's 800xA platform with ALC's WebCTRL facility automation platform.
The advantage of this joint effort is speed to validation for customers and joint project execution.
