August 12, 2008 - Automation Control Products (ACP, Alpharetta, GA) is hitting the road with a 2008 ThinNation Road Show that highlights the benefits of migrating to a Thin Client, centralized computing model for deployment of existing applications. The tour starts August 18th, hitting the cities of Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis, and then moves through the south with stops in Huntsville, Knoxville and Greenville. September finds the show in Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Bakersfield, Irvine, San Diego, and Phoenix, with even more locations added toward the end of the year.More and more companies are moving to Thin Client computing to save money, reduce power consumption and enhance security.

With ACP's Thin Client management software, ThinManager, companies can also incorporate Thin Clients with up to 5 monitors, run multiple sessions from one client, shadow clients and even display multiple sessions on a single Thin Client monitor. ThinManager also includes features for server load balancing, failover and redundancy, automatic configuration of failed clients and user login via RFID.This free event includes a morning of demonstrations and instruction and ends with a lunch, at which time participants will be able to have experts from ACP review their particular application and make suggestions as to how Thin Clients could best be incorporated into their own business."

This Road Show is the perfect place to find out if Thin Clients are right for you," said Paul Burns, Director of Education for ACP. "Companies who don't know enough about the technology can simply spend a morning at one of the free ThinNation shows and come away with the answers they need to make an informed decision."
