Advanced Motion Controls enhances Z-Drives embedded servo drives
Enhancements include increased ranges of current and voltage.

October 13, 2010 - Advanced Motion Controls announces increased ranges of the Z-Drives servo family.Models within the AZ and AZB series now operate over a 40 - 175 VDC range while delivering up to 20 Amps for a total of 3.5 kW peak power.

The 10 - 80 VDC range of AZX series now delivers up to 25 Amps for up to 2.0 kW of peak power. The AZ and AZB series are for use under normal industrial conditions, and AZX series for extended environments, are PCB mount embedded, plug-in servo drive modules.Options include motor type - brushed/voice coil or brushless; command input - either ± 10 V, PWM & Direction; operational mode - torque, Hall velocity or encoder velocity; and environment - industrial or extended.

They are lightweight and compact, easy to integrate, eliminate wiring hassles, very reliable and readily available. All choices result in the most cost-effective servo drive solutions for OEMs developing the latest equipment needing motion control. All units have extremely high current loop bandwidth for quick response times when used in critical or challenging applications. And yet, they are designed to minimize overall system costs.
