September 4, 2015– Automation Systems Interconnect announces nylon cable glands, plastic cord grips and strain relief connectors in both PG and Metric threads available in a wide range of thread sizes. The nylon cables are available in standard, reduced cable entry and extended thread models for enclosures that might require a cable gland with a longer threaded area for mounting to the enclosure.
Models with locking nuts, special sealing rings and spiral wrap cord grips are also available. Choose from light gray, dark gray or black. They are made of a self-extinguishing polyamide 6.6 material and has a flexible neoprene sealing ring which keeps out dust and liquid. They IP68 and NEMA 6X protection standards.
Cable management is made easier with a multi-wire insert accessory which separates cables funneled through the same cable gland. If there extra holes in the wire entry insert, simply insert a seal plug in that extra hole. ASI cable glands are UL, CSA, VDE and CE agency recognized.
