September 5, 2008 -- AXIOMTEK introduces compact yet high performance fanless embedded computer, the eBOX830-822-FL, which supports superior socket 478 Intel Pentium M up to 2.0GHz and Celeron M up to 1.5GHz processors with two DDR2 DIMM sockets up to 2GB memory. Equipped with Intel 910GMLE and ICH6M chipsets, the fanless box computer offers enhanced graphics and increased I/O bandwidth, and comes with six USB 2.0 ports, one PCI expansion slot, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The Intel 910GMLE Express chipset featuring the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 architecture provides enhanced graphics and 3D performance. The eBOX830-822-FL is an application-ready embedded computer targeted at industrial automation, transportation, gaming and digital signage application (DSA).The eBOX830-822-FL supports one 2.5” hard disk for high-capacity storage and two DDR2 400MHz DIMM sockets up to 2GB system memory.
This durable embedded computer offers rich I/O connections including six high speed USB 2.0 ports, six COM (RS-232) ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, two PS/2 connectors for keyboard/mouse, VGA, and audio. Additionally, the eBOX830-822-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux.
It also has a built-in Watchdog timer to keep system running smoothly.Without a fan and enclosed in an extremely rugged aluminum housing only 300 x 210 x 104.5 mm (11.81” x 8.27” x 4.11”) in size, this compact embedded box computer can be applied in the most harsh environments.
