Robust six month period forces company to double warehousing space to accommodate high volume of product orders
MINNEAPOLIS, July 22, 2004 – Beckhoff Automation today announced an 80 percent increase in North American sales for the first half of 2004 over the same six month period in 2003. The PC-based automation controls provider cites especially strong sales of its distributed I/O, Industrial PCs and TwinCAT motion control software, which continue to grow in popularity with a wide variety of OEMs. To keep up with this intense demand, Beckhoff Automation will move its Minneapolis-based North American headquarters into a new office facility – also located in the Minneapolis area. The larger office includes a 100 percent increase in warehouse area and will provide more space for expanded engineering support and add a product repair facility.
