Avantis EAM to provide a common software platform for both maintenance management and corporate purchasing across all six facilities in the UK
FOXBORO, MASSACHUSETTS – December 17, 2003 – Invensys plc, a leader in production management, today announced that Bernard Matthews Ltd., has signed an agreement to deploy the Avantis Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution at all six facilities in the United Kingdom. Bernard Matthews is the leading producer of fresh, chilled and frozen turkey products in the UK.Avantis EAM will be utilized by all factories and the milling division to improve equipment maintenance management and by the administrative departments to streamline corporate purchasing functions. The Avantis software will interface with the PRISM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system previously implemented by Invensys.
