Ernst Iseli and Bill Demuth assume new responsibilities in companys Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit
Bosch Rexroth Corporation recently announced three changes in its leadership, effective April 1. Steven D. Roberts was named senior vice president -- corporate finance. In the companys Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit, Ernst Iseli assumed the role of vice president and general manager, and Bill Demuth was named director of controlling and administration.In his new position, Roberts will assume responsibility for all aspects of Bosch Rexroth finance and accounting with corporate finance, procurement and business unit controlling functions reporting to him.
Roberts will report to Wolfgang Dangel, chief executive officer. Steve will draw on his strong business background and leadership experience to direct the financial activities of the company, said Dangel. He will also assume an active role in our ongoing efforts to provide various industries with best-in-class products and customer service. Roberts joined Bosch Automation Products as divisional controller in 1994. Three years later he was promoted to director of controlling and administration with purchasing, logistics and IT responsibilities.
In 2001 he assumed operations responsibility for the companys Buchanan, Mich., facility as well as commercial responsibility for the newly formed Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit.
Most recently Roberts served as vice president and general manager of the unit.In his new position, Iseli will manage the companys Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit with facilities in Charlotte, N.C., and Buchanan, Mich. Earlier this year he was named vice president marketing for the business unit and previously served as the units director sales and marketing.
Prior to joining Bosch Rexroth, Iseli had worked for Universal Instruments Corporation in Binghamton, N.Y. as director for Americas area operations.Demuth joined Bosch Rexroth in 1998.
In his new position he will add human resources and overall commercial responsibility to his current role as divisional controller for the Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit.Bosch Rexroth Corporation, a merger of Bosch Automation Technology and Rexroth, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.
