November 19, 2013 - Bourns announced CDDFN2-T3.3B.low profile transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode. The low capacitance (13 pF) diode is in a small surface mount package as an optimal ESD, EFT and surge protection solution. The TVS diode provides reliable circuit protection for external ports in a broad range of electronic devices such as computers and peripherals, communication systems, cellular phones, handheld portable electronics and audio and video equipment.
The Model CDDFN2-T3.3B TVS diode is tested to IEC protection standards -- IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge).
This latest low profile diode measures only 1.0 mm x 0.60 mm x 0.55 mm and is available in a DFN-2 package. It is designed to be mounted directly onto an FR4 printed circuit board, and its package size meets the surface mount component 0402 footprint.
Model CDDFN2-T3.3B is priced from $0.13 in 12,000 piece quantities, and is RoHS compliant.
