Youngstown, OH (April, 2005) - Computerized controls can be connected to sensors and actuators at the machine level quickly and efficiently with the D-Box from Canfield Connector. Designed to reduce installation and troubleshooting time, the D-Box can be used with 8mm, 12mm or 8mm/12mm quick-connect cables. It also carries a NEMA type 6 / IP 67 dust tight and water resistant designation and is epoxy encapsulated for harsh environments with a temperature rating of -20°C to +80°C.Other D-Box features include Power / I/O LED indicators, built-in input surge suppression, NPN (sinking)/PNP (sourcing) options, 15 ft. standard cable length and optional DIN rail mounting.
