In addition, these highly flexible cables are designed to provide premium current carrying capacity, excellent heat dissipation, consistent electrical characteristics, weight & space savings and are ideal to meet the reliability requirements of continuous motion, welding robots and automation assembly systems. Even under extensive tight bending and high speed flexing, Cicoil's exclusive, crystal-clear, Flexx-Sil Flat Cable Technology does not require conduit for protection and will not wear, tear or deform during a lifetime of more than 10 million cycles.
These Halogen & Talc-free cables are "self-healing" from small punctures and will withstand repetitive exposure to severe vibration, shock, flames (UL 94V-0 & FAA), electrical & mechanical stress, humidity, steam, weld spark, temperature extremes (-65°C to +260°C), oil, water and many chemicals. For applications that require resistance to adhesion and friction, Cicoil offers coating options by request.
Through the use of a process of encasing individual components, each Flexx-Sil Cable can incorporate any of the following: feedback pairs, shielded control wires, power conductors, tubing for liquid or air transfer, video conductors, FlexRail Self-Supporting Flat Cable System and Cicoil’s Patented StripMount Fastening Strip, all combined in a single condensed cable design, precisely controlling the inner component spacing, jacket thickness and the overall cable shape.
