May 4, 2011 - CONTA-CLIP releases one-level terminal blocks with pressure spring connection, and standardized wire cross section ranges. The pressure spring terminal blocks are available as FRKI feed-through terminals, FSLI protective earth terminals, and FNT neutral terminals. Thanks to the standardized wire cross section ranges of 2.5-4 mm² and 6-10 mm², users now only need to stock one instead of two models.
Models for 2.5-4 mm² wires are available now. Models for 6-10 mm² and 16 mm² wires will follow in mid and late 2011. The pressure spring system allows for the connection of massive cables or flexible cables with wire-end ferrules without tools. FNT neutral terminals feature an integrated rail adapter for locking in a 10 x 3 mm neutral busbar.
An additional support plate is no longer necessary. CONTA-CLIP has also optimized its FSLI protective earth terminals: the PE foot contacts the PE potential to the DIN rail on both sides, ensuring low contact resistance as well as excellent safety. FRKI, FSLI, and FNT one-level terminals can be combined with the three-level terminals from the FDLIS series, since the neutral busbar is located in the same position for all types. For safe distribution of the nominal current across FRKI terminals, CONTA-CLIP provides pluggable FIQI 2.5-4 connectors.
The insulated cross-connection components are available as two to ten pole versions.
