WOOD DALE, IL – Danaher Motion introduces the Thomson Piloted RediMount - an innovative mounting system that allows Thomson Slides to easily mount, horizontally, vertically, inclined or inverted, to nearly any motor, with guaranteed alignment. The Piloted RediMount mounting system is a flexible tool that simplifies the integration of positioning slides into automated assemblies. “The Thomson Piloted RediMount eliminates the need to research, confirm the fit, or specify the interface dimensions between a positioning slide and the motor of choice,” says Mike Stegmann, Danaher Motion’s Product Manager for Slide Tables and Systems. “The user simply specifies the desired Thomson Slide part number, as well as the manufacturer and part number of the motor that the end user will be installing.
We assume responsibility for customizing the mating motor interface, with no increase in lead-time or price for a given frame size. “The Thomson Piloted RediMount design incorporates an intermediate housing sandwiched between a shortened slide end block and the motor. At time of order, the simplified housing and optional coupling are machined from common blanks to mate with the key characteristics of the customer’s motor.
