September 5, 2014 - DFI introduced TPC190-SB an industrial touch panel PC. The 19” panel PC, powered by 3rd/2nd Generation Intel Core, supports 5-wire resistive, 1280x1024 TFT LCD touch screen panel that has 350 nits brightness. Thanks to its low-power x86 architecture and robust design, TPC190-SB is suited for embedded applications, such as HMI systems. Constructed with aluminum front panels, the rugged design of TPC190-SB can withstand tough industrial environments. Furthermore, the IP65-rated Panel PC not only protects the panel from ingress of dust and water but also allows easy cleansing of the panel.
The Intel H61-based panel PC is equipped with two DDR3 SODIMM sockets, two 2.5” SATA drive bays, one optional optical drive bay, two LAN controllers, two COM ports, and six type A USB ports (two at the front panel and four at the bottom). Users can benefit from the three mounting options: VESA mount (75x75 and 100x100), wall mount, and panel mount. Moreover, the 19” panel PC can withstand operating temperature from -10°C to 50°C which can be extensively applied to outdoor environments. By means of PCIe, PCI, and the Mini PCIe socket which supports PCIe and USB signals for Wi-Fi modules and half/full size Mini PCIe cards, the Panel PC can offer additional expansion capabilities to meet customers’ demands easily.
