Duluth, GA, March 19, 2004 – DVT is the only machine vision company that offers free training, free software upgrades, and free online diagnostic support but DVT’s free training has just gotten even better—training participants are now eligible to receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through Gwinnett Technical Institute, a leading technical college in suburban Atlanta. “Training is in many ways a cornerstone of our business so it’s important that we provide the highest value we can to our students,” commented DVT Product Specialist Conner Henry. “The addition of CEU credits makes DVT training even more valuable, and that’s our goal.”Starting in March, anyone who completes DVT’s four-day classroom training is eligible to receive 2.4 CEU credits from the institution.
There are no prerequisites for this course. DVT Product Training Specialist Greg Brauhn, who is also an adjunct faculty member at Gwinnett Technical Institute, noted that the CEUs may help some students fulfill important job requirements. “This will be a great benefit for a student whose Performance Goals includes taking Continuing Education courses as part of their evaluation,” he said. “Now, in addition to the great value of DVT training itself, they can have the added value of satisfying requirements of their employer.”DVT conducts free, four-day classroom training for three weeks out of every month at the DVT corporate headquarters in Duluth, Georgia and in other locations in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
