PITTSBURGH (Dec. 9, 2003) — Emerson Process Management announced that its Ovation® expert control system, a key component of Emerson’s PlantWeb® digital plant architecture, has successfully completed the FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus Host Interoperability Support Test (HIST). “Successfully completing HIST is just the latest step in Emerson’s ongoing support of the advancement of digital plant technologies,” said Steve Schilling, vice president, product development, Power & Water Solutions industry center of Emerson Process Management.
