April 24, 2013 - EVT introduces Intelligent Alignment System,a compact intelligent camera with 4 sensor heads, which can be integrated directly into even the smallest of systems. With a powerful dual Core processor, which is based on a 1 GHz ARM and a 800 MHz DSP, it is possible to calculate the position correction data of all 4 sensors with frame rates of 25 frames per second. The integration into the control system can be carried out by either digital I/Os, a GigE or a serial interface. The WebInterface, which is connected with the EyeVision Softare, allows the user to adapt new products via the browser interface from any computer, completely without having to master the software.
Besides the image transfer via the network, a direct HDMI monitor connection for displaying the latest evaluation data, is available. Also for the LINUX system on the camera there is a user interface, which is easily adapted to customer requests. This user interface is based on Qt and it is therefore possible to embed it into OEM GUIs. Thanks to the division of work between the ARM processor, the DSP and the GPU, which is uses for some evaluations as well, the system possesses an extremely fast processing speed. The entire evaluation is based on the graphically programmable EyeVision image processing software.
Therefore the alignment systems can be easily extended and it is possible also to identify boards by their bar codes, QR codes or DMCs.
