Features include a service life of more than 10 years, continuous operation from -20°C to 55°C and no thermal runaway issues that are inherent in Lithium-ion chemistry

November 22, 2017 – Falcon Electric, a manufacturer of online Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) and backup power for critical applications, announced the addition of a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery option to its SSG Industrial UPS family.

Features include:

  • Service life of more than 10 years
  • Continuous operation from -20°C to 55°C
  • No thermal runaway issues that are inherent in Lithium-ion chemistry

Shipping now, the new models feature a two-year warranty replace their lead-acid battery with the LiFePO4 battery.
