July 10, 2012– FSG expands its MH 1023 encoder series with models suitable for use in explosive atmospheres (EExib IICT6). Featuring two-wire technology, the magnetic single-turn encoders provide a 14 Bit resolution. Closed on all sides, their anodised aluminium housing contains a permanent magnet with a highly precise angle sensor unit. The contact-free measuring system instantly provides exact position values after activation, requiring no reference runs after power failure. The IP67 encoders are equipped with an analog 4-20 mA interface and can be programmed via keys on the back side.
Optionally, models for safety-relevant applications according to IEC61508 (SIL) are also available.
