JR Automation, a Hitachi Group company and global leader in intelligent automation solutions, has announced the appointment of Yusuke Kazama as chief executive officer.

Kazama currently serves as chief operating officer of Hitachi's Industrial Solutions Business Unit and executive president of the Industrial Solutions Business Division. Throughout his career with Hitachi, he has held leadership roles across industrial solutions, engineering, business development, and global operations in both Japan and Singapore.

As CEO, Kazama will lead JR Automation's global strategy and operations, building on the company's strong foundation in automation, robotics, and digital innovation as part of the Hitachi Group. JR Automation provides intelligent automated manufacturing and distribution technology solutions across global industries.

"JR Automation has built an exceptional reputation for engineering excellence, innovation, and customer partnership," said Kazama. "I am honored to join the team and excited to work alongside our employees, customers, and Hitachi colleagues around the world as we continue advancing intelligent automation solutions that help manufacturers thrive."

Kazama's appointment reflects Hitachi's continued commitment to accelerating the convergence of automation and digital technologies while strengthening JR Automation's position as a leader in advancing physical AI for global manufacturers.
