Dynics, Inc. now offers the popular paneLink series with Pentium M technology. The new faster paneLink has the processing power of a P4, but uses less wattage and generates less heat. In addition, the paneLink series has undergone “thermal” re-design to better facilitate airflow and system heat dissipation.

System Improvements Include Pentium M CPU and Heat Dissipation MeasuresANN ARBOR, June 6, 2006 – Dynics, Inc. now offers the popular paneLink series with Pentium M technology. The new faster paneLink has the processing power of a P4, but uses less wattage and generates less heat. In addition, the paneLink series has undergone “thermal” re-design to better facilitate airflow and system heat dissipation.

“Traditionally, the paneLink system was a thin-chassis industrial computer used for embedded applications running Windows CE.net and XP Embedded,” states Dynics president Ed Gatt. He continues, “With the integration of the Pentium M and Celeron M CPU, the paneLink can now bring a more powerful PC solution within a smaller space on the factory floor. We are also looking to extend this architecture to our other industrial computer families and future products.”To combat system heat issues, the Pentium M generates about half the wattage of a Pentium 4 and the paneLink uses an internal 80mm ball-bearing fan to better dissipate heat in the small chassis.

Operators have the choice of either a 15” XGA TFT LCD or 17.1” SXGA TFT LCD touchscreen interface. Additional features also include an optional Stainless Steel NEMA 4X bezel, dual Ethernet ports and four available USB ports.
