November 8, 2006 - The JetCon 1501 Fast Ethernet Media Converter is designed to convert 10/100Base-TX signals to 100Base-FX signals. With a fiber media converter you can connect different types of media seamlessly and effectively. The fiber media technology also provides high noise immunity against EMI interferences to greatly extend the network connection range and keep reliable transmission. Today's network infrastructure needs connectivity solutions that are reliable and scalable as well as secure and manageable.
Support multi-format fiber connectors
The JetCon 1501 is designed to expand your network through a fiber optic connection extending a fiber link up to 90 km (single mode in full duplex mode). The JetCon 1501 offers the most popular fiber cabling connectors: SC and ST formats in Multi-mode and Single mode. The JetCon 1501 supports link loss forwarding function and UTP port supports auto MDI/MDIX function. You can also use DIP switch to set the fiber port in two different operation modes, full-duplex and half-duplex.
Flexible installation
The converters can be installed as stand-alone on the desktop or mounted on the media converter chassis. The units adapt the DC power provided by chassis Rack-1001 (single power supply) / Rack-1002 (redundant power supply)
