Valued at over 2.5 million dollars, the order is from a leading automotive parts manufacturer as it expands production with Kurt’s latest high speed, automated gage systems which are designed to ensure quality of the manufacturing process. Kurt reports that these new gage systems measure accuracy to within ±10 microns at the rate of one part every 10 seconds. Characteristics inspected include geometrics as well as simple diameters.
