October 1, 2015 – The Lapp Group released ETHERLINE flexible Industrial Ethernet cable suitable for tray applications. This Tray Cat 5e cable can handle gigabit speeds and is suitable for EtherNet/IP applications.
The cable offers a bend radius of 15 times the cable diameter in flex applications. Other features include:
- Four twisted pairs with polyolefin-based insulation and PVC jacketing
- Foil and braid EMI shielding
- Operating temperatures from -25 to 80ºC
- Nominal voltage of 600 V and characteristic impedance of 100Ω, ±15Ω at 100 MHz
The new ETHERLINE cable has a wide range of approvals, making it suitable for many different industrial control applications. These approvals include:
