April 29, 2013 - Lexycom Technologies added the Verno CM embedded cryptographic module to the Telion family of Software Defined Radios. The Telion series now adds embedded FIPS 140-2, encryption capability to their line of user programmable software defined data transceivers. The ‘Verno CM’ is a Federal Information Processing Standard, FIPS140-2 embedded PCB component module that has been tested to Level 2 security. The Embedded module is extremely compact in design, so there is no need for IO connectors as all of the ports are printed circuit board traces. The Verno CM operates using AES protocol with FIPS approved algorithms and role based authentication.
The Telion line of transceivers is now fully equipped to process and protect sensitive data for applications that require level of security secure data. Multi-service, reconfigurable, cost-effective and secure, Software Defined Radios a growth-oriented solution for wireless communication applications.
