June 2, 2016 - Available from MicroPower Direct, the LDC-240 series is a family of compact, AC/DC LED drivers specifically designed to provide the constant current output, high efficiency, wide AC input range and rugged packaging required for industrial lighting systems.

Seven models operate from a universal 90 to 305 VAC input and provide constant current outputs ranging from 0.70A to 7.00A at corresponding output voltage levels of 18 to 400 VDC. Standard features include 94% efficiency, active PFC, 10 kV surge protection, short circuit protection, and an analog or PWM dimming control input. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the LDC-240 series is greater than 220 khours.

All models are UL 8750 approved and meet the requirements of EN 55015 and EN 61547.

All models of the

LDC

-240 family are packaged in aluminum cases rated to IP65 or IP67 dust & moisture ingress protection. They are specified for operation over the industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C ambient. Cooling is by free-air convection.

The LDC-240 series is an ideal solution for use in a variety of applications featuring LED lamps. They provide the stable constant output current; analog & digital controls; output power; output voltage range and rugged packaging required to effectively power industrial/-commercial lighting systems. Other models are available ranging from 60W to 200W, including “lamp base” units.
