22 June, 2004Midwest Motion Products announces the release of the MMP Model 25A-24V DC Motor Speed Control. Able to deliver 25 Amps of continuous current at 24 VDC, this control varies the Pulse Width from 0 To 98% duty. The Control operates Standard DC PM Brushed Motors or Gearmotors, compatible designs of which are also available from the company.Midwest Motion Products has designed the MMP 25A-24V design, as well as it's 12 VDC companion, the MMP 25A-12V, to meet the Environmental Protection Standard "IP-65" Rating for harsh environments.

Operation
The MMP 25A-24V Motor Speed Control operates on 20-26 Volts DC; Battery power is acceptable It is designed to control the output speed of a Brushed PM DC motor, by varying the output pulse width from 0% to 98% duty. The MMP 25A-24V is easy to use, having just 7 “faston” interconnects— two for 24 Volt power, two for the motor, and three for the ‘pre-wired’ speed control potentiometer, one of which is included with each unit. Also accepts 0- 5 VDC Analog command.
