July 23, 2008 - Moore Industries-International appoints Ed Fagundes to Director of Manufacturing. Fagundes brings over 15 years of manufacturing and operational experience in managerial roles to Moore Industries. He has a strong and effective background in world-class manufacturing methods including APICS Inventory Control, Demand Flow Technology, and Lean Manufacturing/Six-Sigma. “Moore Industries’ continued growth and increased production volume requires a seasoned leader in manufacturing operations to ensure the highest in product quality. We are excited to bring Ed Fagundes onboard to be this leader,” says Nicholas Moore, Vice President of Strategic Planning at Moore Industries.
“His strong manufacturing background and education will surely benefit our operation and serve to motivate our employees,” Moore continued. Prior to joining Moore Industries, Fagundes was the Director of Aerospace Operations for Kavlico Aerospace in Moorpark, CA. At Kavlico, he lead a multi-plant operation overseeing 400 people and driving a high-mix in production to meet sales of $70 million annually. In addition to his extensive experience, Fagundes has a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fresno, and a Masters of Business Administration from California Lutheran University.
