Truchard Addresses The Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas at Annual Meeting NEWS RELEASE – Jan. 6, 2005 – National Instruments President, CEO and Cofounder Dr. James Truchard will call on Texas academic institutions to explore areas such as energy and biomedical sciences this evening at The Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas annual conference. Truchard’s keynote speech addresses the state’s Nobel laureates, top researchers, university and corporate leaders as well as state political representatives, including honorary Academy chairman U.S.
Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, as they gather in Irving, Texas, to highlight cutting-edge research and discuss collaborative opportunities for strengthening the Texas research community. “National Instruments shares many of the same priorities as the Academy and is a strong partner in our effort,” said Hutchison. “National Instruments has deep Texas roots and has become a leader in its industry.
