National Instruments Hosts Automated Test Summit in 12 Cities

March 16, 2004 – National Instruments, a leader in automated test software and modular instrumentation hardware, today announced a series of 12 free Automated Test Summit events throughout North America from March to June 2004. Six leading suppliers of automated test equipment joined NI to develop the summit, which features industry experts from Flextronics Test, JTAG Technologies, SigmaQuest, Tektronix, Thermotron and Virginia Panel Corp. The summit offers attendees access to industry experts and the opportunity to learn how leading corporations increase return on capital through improved automated test methods.

“In working with test directors, engineers and senior managers from leading electronics manufacturers, NI learned of the key challenges they face,” said Richard McDonell, automated test software product manager for NI. “We worked closely with leading automated test equipment suppliers to develop the Automated Test Summit, which presents the latest test strategies and technologies that address these challenges.
