January 5, 2008 - Navitar appointed Patrick Buvé as Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Buvé will be based in Belgium and will oversee Navitar staff in Germany and the United Kingdom. Together they will focus on new business development and client retention throughout Europe. Buvé joins Navitar with over fifteen years of experience in the Machine Vision industry. Prior to joining Navitar, Patrick was the European Sales Manager for CCS Europe NV, where he managed multiple sales channels consisting of OEM, machine vision partners and distributors.
He worked closely with customers and company engineers to develop customized solutions according to the customer’s requirements and handled key OEM accounts. “Patrick’s extensive knowledge in the areas of machine vision, illumination technology, camera technology and image processing, along with his sales and account management experience at such companies as CCS Europe NV, Euresys SA and ICOS Vision Systems, make him an asset to our global sales team,” comments Donald Ehinger, Navitar’s Vice President of Sales. “His ability to understand and solve customer’s specific product needs and his industry knowledge will help Navitar to further develop our optics business throughout Europe.”
Buvé holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Group T Leuven Catholic Industrial University College in Belgium and is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch. About Navitar, Inc.
