SCHAUMBURG, IL (June 13, 2003) – Robert Jacobs has been appointed Omron Electronics LLC’s Vice President, Human Resources. Jacobs will oversee Human Resources for all of Omron Electronics LLC’s Western Hemisphere subsidiaries, which includes operations in Toronto, Canada; Houston, Texas; and Sao Paulo, Brazil. “Robert will play a key role in facilitating and managing the change process as Omron continues to grow and meet customer, distributor, and competitive challenges in an ever-evolving marketplace,” said President and COO Craig Bauer. Jacobs was most recently Vice President of Human Resources at Alfa Laval Inc. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
