SCHAUMBURG, IL (July 14, 2004) – Joe Spedale has been appointed Omron Electronics LLC’s National Distributor Sales Manager. He will be responsible for Industrial Automation distributor activities in the United States and Latin America. In his role, Spedale will be overseeing continued sales growth through Omron’s distributor organizations of industrial automation products such as PLCs, sensors, machine vision systems, operator interfaces, timers, power supplies, servo motors, and software.Spedale joins Omron after an 11-year career with SMC Corporation of America, Indianapolis, Indiana. For the past four years, Spedale managed SMC’s national distributor network.
Before becoming SMC's National Distribution Manager, he held sales and management positions as branch manager, regional channel manager, and sales representative.
