Omron's F3SX is the first Omron SIL Level controller per the requirements found in the IEC61508 standard for "Functional Safety". The F3SX comes pre-configured, accommodates up to nine safety inputs and up to 4 safety output modules including a solid-state, relay, relay on-delay and relay off-delay versions.

Omron's F3SX is the first Omron SIL Level controller per the requirements found in the IEC61508 standard for "Functional Safety". The F3SX comes pre-configured, accommodates up to nine safety inputs and up to 4 safety output modules including a solid-state, relay, relay on-delay and relay off-delay versions. This safety controller also offers a RS232 connection and software to configure the auxiliary outputs, time delays, monitoring, troubleshooting and other advanced functionality. This new controller provides a simple connector interface for use with the Omron F3SN-A Safety Light Curtain. Omron now manufactures the F3SN-A light curtain in custom length versions of our 14mm and 25mm at its St.

Charles, IL factory. This light curtain can be ordered and shipped within 6 working days. The reliable F3SNA light curtains provide finger, hand, and full body protection against category 4 hazards. This added production capability provides better customer support to meet even the most challenging start-up schedules.
