Available in DC and AC/DC models, Series 28 Sensors feature a rugged IP67 housing and highly visible LEDs for visual status indication. They offer advanced cross-talk protection, are immune to ambient light, and are available with visible red, infrared and laser light source types. Cabled, quick disconnect and terminal models are available. Optional timer models and extreme low temperature models (down to -40°F) are also available.
This family of sensors is well suited for material handling, packaging and automotive applications, among others. They are available with NPN, PNP, Relay, AS-Interface and 4-in-1 outputs. 4-in-1 output enables a single sensor to automatically determine the appropriate output type and operate in NPN normally open, NPN normally closed, PNP normally open, or PNP normally closed configurations without requiring any external programming.
