Harrisburg, PA – Phoenix Contact introduces a new aluminum raised rail in response to panel builders’ demands for a better DIN-rail solution. The aluminum raised rail includes enhanced features such as centered mounting slots, larger 1-inch diameter cable routing holes, and availability in both a one-meter length and a two-meter length. Many panel builders find it difficult to terminate wire into components mounted on standard DIN-rail when the wire duct is close or when large panel mount products sit high on the panel. The unique features and options of the raised rail facilitate this process.Existing aluminum raised rail designs are offset and only available in one-meter lengths.

This can hinder the panel layout process and time to assemble the rail in tall control cabinets.

The Phoenix Contact raised rail solution overcomes these obstacles with this new patent-pending design. The aluminum raised rail has an industry standard height of 2.26 in. (57.4 mm), with a reduced overall width of 1.38 in. (35.0 mm).

The center mounting slots are on 3-in. (76.2 mm) centerline spacing that can accommodate #10 slotted, Phillips, and hex head screws.

The large, 1-in. (25.4 mm) cable routing holes are on 6-in. (152.4 mm) centerline spacings.

Phoenix Contact Inc. Quality System is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 – Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.Information on the Aluminum Raised Rail is available from Phoenix Contact Inc., Technical Service Department, 800-322-3225, E-mail: [email protected] .
