Harrisburg, PA – Designing DIN-rail assemblies has never been easier with the newly enhanced Clip Project 5.1 project planning software from Phoenix Contact. The software now includes products from the company’s TRABTECH surge protection line, modular I/O and PC-based control products, INTERFACE signal level matching products, as well as terminal blocks and accessories. Users of Clip Project 5.1 can quickly select and combine individual products from a well-organized list of available components.

A dimensionally accurate picture of a DIN-rail assembly will be generated and can be printed along with a bill of materials to include all products, bridges and markers. The user-friendly layout and similarity to other popular software programs makes Clip Project 5.1 easy to use.

The program guides the selection process with pictures and specifications of the Phoenix Contact products needed.DIN-rail terminal block assemblies produced with Clip Project 5.1 can be checked with the auto-correction feature of the software.

In addition, finished assemblies developed in Clip Project 5.1 can be transferred into a CAD program with ease or saved as an electronic WORD® or EXCEL® file with the ability to share.Phoenix Contact Inc. Quality System is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 – Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
