Harrisburg, PA – WIREMARK, a new wire-marking machine from Phoenix Contact, is up to 80% faster than traditional methods of wire-marking. The machine is designed to mark a variety of different sized labels for application on conductors with a cross-section range of 0.5 – 6 mm². Using WIREMARK, the wire being labeled is measured, and the label is printed, crimped, and welded to the wire in just three seconds. WIREMARK does not require retrofitting or adjustments when the size of the conductor is changed.

The labels move and rotate so they can be easily positioned to follow the wiring. The special design of the labels allows for easy to read print, even on labels with the smallest cross-sections.The WIREMARK software accepts label import data from all common CAD/CAE planning systems as well as data from Phoenix Contact’s CMS-MARK-WIN labeling software. WIREMARK software automatically sorts and formats data and use of the “Print” command sends data to the memory card permitting retrieval at a future time.

The desktop sized unit is designed to fit any workplace and can be operated independent of a PC.Phoenix Contact Inc. Quality System is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 - Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
