Middletown, Pa. — The new QUINT single phase, 40 amp, 24 volt DC power supplies from Phoenix Contact effectively doubles the maximum current output available in single phase, industrial grade DC power supply technology. Developed to address increasing DC power requirements for today’s industrial control applications, QUINT 40 amp power supplies have a wide operating temperature range of –25 to +70 °C.
They offer adjustable output voltage between 22.5 and 29.5 V DC and Phoenix Contact’s POWER BOOST technology providing 50% permanent power reserve for heavy inductive loads. In case of supply failures, full output power is available for more than 20 ms, thus ensuring uninterrupted operation even in unstable networks. Like all members of the QUINT power supply family, these modules include Tri-Mode diagnostics with LED indication, dry contact and solid state output.
If increased performance or redundancy is required, the devices can be connected in parallel. QUINT power supplies have a >500,000 hr. MTBF rating and a five-year U.S. warranty.
They are applicable in all industrial sectors and suitable for use around the world thanks to their wide input voltage range from 85 to 264 V AC and 120 to 350 V DC as well as their international certifications.
