Phoenix Contact’s Line of High Temperature PCB Headers Save Costs for OEMs

Harrisburg, PA – OEMs can realize significant cost savings with the latest addition to Phoenix Contact’s line of high temperature, through-hole reflow (THR), PCB headers. The new CC 2.5 THR series of headers, now available in 5.08mm pin spacing, are made of a liquid crystal polymer. The high temperature plastic allows parts to be easily integrated into surface mount production processes, eliminating hand soldering and providing cost and time savings.

The headers are available in position sizes 2 through 24, with or without locking flanges, and are available utilizing either single or two-piece configurations. Additional features include both vertical and horizontal PCB mounting versions as well as tape-on-reel packaging for integration with automated pick and place equipment.Phoenix Contact Inc.
