November 14, 2016 – Power Partners announced the release of the PEAD72 series from their Industrial AC/DC Desktop Power Supply product offering.
The PEAD72 Series is a 72-watt Level VI AC/DC desktop power supply having either a Class I or Class II configuration, a package size of 4.45” x 1.93” x 1.37”, and worldwide list of safety standard approvals. Supplies have a universal input of 90-264VAC and are offered in single output models of either 12V, 15V, 18V, 19V, 24V, 36V or 48V.
Highlighted key features of the PEAD72 series are; <210mW no load power consumption, LED on indicator, overload & short circuit protection, no load operation, 100% burn-in / hi-pot tested, operating temperature of 0° to +40°C FULL LOAD, operating altitude of <5000m operational and storage, and MTBF >100,000 hours per MIL-HDBK-217F at full load and 25ºC ambient.
AC input receptacle is the IEC320 with available C14, C6, C8 and C18 options (C14 being the standard). DC output plug is a 2.5mm x 5.5mm barrel connector and weight of the supply is a notable 1lb.
The PEAD72 series offers a list of worldwide safety standard approvals, such as UL/cUL/TUV 60950-1, CB, PSE, CE and CCC. EMC performance per FCC and EN55022 Class B radiated and conducted.
