September 7, 2010 - PPT VISION appointed David G. Wick as vice-president of sales and marketing. With more than 20 years of Fortune 50 company sales, marketing and business leadership experience, Mr. Wick joins PPT VISION from Honeywell International's Microelectronics & Precision Sensors business, where he most recently served as global director of sales. In his new assignment, Mr.
Wick will lead the global sales and marketing team at PPT VISION. He will be based in Bloomington, Minnesota. "His industrial sales and marketing leadership experience, along with his unwavering energy, will guide our business growth well into the future." Mr.
Wick holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in business from the University of St. Thomas. PPT VISION develops and markets innovative machine vision technologies including smart cameras and high-end vision systems for a broad range of industry categories, including manufacturers of automotive components, consumer goods, electronic components, food and beverage products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, plastics and semiconductors.
