FREMONT, CA – Scientific Technologies, Inc. (STI) introduces the explosion proof Perimeter Access Guarding Device PA4600-EP. This long-range, multiple-beam safeguarding control system provides a longer operating range (30 meter) and wider beam spacing than conventional safety light curtains. This makes it suitable for torso detection, and an excellent choice for safeguarding the perimeter of areas where hazardous or explosive materials are present. The unit is easy to install, and a front panel access to selector switches allows for easy configuration modification.
A selection of scan codes allow the installer to choose unique scan frequencies, thereby avoiding cross-talk with adjacent systems or other infra-red emitting devices. The PA4600-EP also has 625 mA solid-state safety outputs that provide a wide range of interfacing options with industry standard safety relays.
